HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
This document may answer some of your questions about Foothills Academy Connected.
Online Learner Readiness
Online learning is a great option for some students, but is not a good fit for everyone. Consider the skills associated with readiness for online learning.
Individualized Plan of Study
Each student’s academic program is unique and outlined in their individual Plan of Study. For High School students, details include their Diploma Pathway.
FA uses Parchment to respond to student official transcript requests securely and promptly. First time users will need to register for an account. A helpful resource is https://parchmentsupport.force.com/.
Current students can access a basic unofficial transcript through their Campus portals. Choose “Reports” from the menu at the left, once inside account.
FAC Parents/Guardians can access student’s final session grades and transcript/report card data using Infinite Campus. FAC Families use the online learning platform to stay up to date with student’s assignments and tests in his/her classes.
FAC operates year round with 7-8 week “sessions” and 1-2 week breaks in between. Students generally take the equivalent of 2-3 0.5 credit or half-year courses each session. A full year’s worth of coursework may be accomplished in 5 of the 6 sessions (for example, a student may choose to not attend school year-round and have the traditional summer break).
